Saturday’s “To Do” list starts off with Head to Currently have!
Planning my route the evening before, testing my gps on my cell phone and circling the garage sale listings from the paper really are a Friday night ritual.
The neighborhood My home is is really a “Planned Community”. Which make it pre-planned and strategically outlined. It is split up into Sections and every section is presented by a letter. The “P” section is made up of streets starting with the letter P: Perkins, Parking, Parkins, Penny. You get the drift! In the P section, there are numerous retirees and young professionals. The W section is considered the rich and ritzy division of town Then a B section is older yet sadly, more run down. The R section is packed with young families with children. The S Section is south of town and considered from the boondocks just because the lots are larger plus it feels more country. Lastly, the C Section is how the canals, intracoastal, boats, boats plus much more boaters live. Each section possesses its own characteristics and community. Although we are all part of the larger town, these “sections” develop over town to attract some ambience. The region with plenty of children have 2 elementary schools and sidewalks throughout. The “Country” part of town doesn’t have any street lights which is off the beaten track through the all town. But, the town as a whole has regulations and rules and laws that individuals all try and abide.

Were allowed Two garage sales each year. We are needed to get a $5 permit per of the sales and our signage is grabbed and destroyed by noon on Saturday mornings. It’s not at all a conducive atmosphere for any Yard sale Business in your home office!
Some individuals have ignored each of the rules, communicated with their neighbors about their needs and plans and also make a fairly good living putting on the yard sale event monthly! But when they get caught disobeying the principles, they feign innocence towards the rules and promise to not ever repeat the process! But, a month later when things have calmed back, there’ll suddenly be another garage sale! Most people locally could care less and life proceeds!
About the Wednesday before the Friday/Saturday Garage Sale rush, a long list of all sales is released within our local shopping guide, The Pennysaver. People list their address, time and date of sale along with a couple of “hook” items that will attract the throngs of super sale seekers. I faithfully pour within the Pennysaver dividing the sale addresses into town’s sections and plot my Saturday journey!
I leave for the sales until around 11am since most of these sales end by 1 or 2pm. Therefore, as soon as I get on the sale, people you will need to unload the last of their stuff for just about any price you offer them. Because storage auctions near me am NEVER seeking anything in particular… just real deals, I have been previously capable to purchase (without negotiation) entire rooms of furniture, enormous collections of old china and enough fabric to stitch clothes for any under developed nation! And that i bought it for about $5!!! I’ve got a weekly budget of about $20 for garage sales simply a couple of times have I ever learned about that amount!!!
So, with this weekend, I am plotting out about 10 sales in just a 10 mile variety of my property. I’ll leave at 11 am and turn into back by 3pm i know….A corner seat with the car will probably be LOADED!!!!
